Two authors share their latest collections of short stories from the surreal to the simply weird. Tara Campbell’s Midnight at the Organporium explores the stories of ghosts, homicidal houseplants, sentient fog, and CEOs who turn into lions, in genres that range from flash fiction to fairytale retellings. Elise Levine’s This Wicked Tongue explores uncanny, character-driven stories in which their subjects, from two people in a failing marriage to holy women to a pregnant runaway, must dig deep within themselves to find the answers to their struggles.
